My name is Jeff Fish and I spend my days Blogging, Tweeting, Facebooking, updating my Linkedin network, Foursquareing, and now Buzzing at Bernard Hodes Group.

In my free time I get to figure out how to make all of these things actually be considered work!

• Employee ambassadors maintained social media destinations for HR

Success on Facebook– Build it and they will come– Our Fan Page is the centerpiece of our

social recruiting efforts– We engage daily on Facebook with our

candidates

Success on Twitter – We have an RSS Feed– All of my recruiters are tweeting– We use Twitter to tell students where we

will be on campus

Organizations that are successful in the space

Conclusions:

• New technology has caused a new shift in recruiting

• Social recruiting is here to stay

• There is no digital silver bullet

• A social recruiting strategy must be implemented with goals and not just tactics
