Silhouette Light SourceMrs Ras Painting

Find a silhouette where there is a strong ligh source coming from the back to cast a black shape to the subject

Create a new file in Photoshop Letter size!

edit > paste

edit> adj> brightness and contrast

Image > adj> hue and saturation

Duplicate the layerRight click on layer and duplicate

On top layer Filter Gallery> cut out

Add a new layer for painting!!!

Begin to paint with Full opacity 100 and a harder brush edge and paint in the shapes of the sky

Once you are a little further along add a layer below you8r painting layer and paint it completely black

Continue to paint the whole sky leaving no gaps between the shapes of color

Now that you are done blocking the colors change the edge hardness to softer and lower the opacity of the paint to 20 to 30 %

Now begin to blend the shapes of color so that there are smooth transitions

Notice the hard edge between the colors

Now notice how it fades from yellow to darker yellow

Now that we are blending we need to reference the picture while painting so on the reference picRight click > export as

Open the exported file and pull it off of your working bar so that it is floating next to your painting

Continue to add details and reference the real pic
