Setting Up/Using TITAN TV for use with WinTV v6 or WinTV v7

After WinTV v6 or WinTV v7 and all of its components have been installed, open you Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) and go to TITANTV.com.

The first thing you will see is the ‘Welcome to TitanTV’. TitanTV chooses the most likely channel lineup based on your Internet address. Choose your cable set up from the options listed or select the “No, Let Me Choose One” option.

After selecting NO, you will be asked to select your TV source.

Enter your ZIPCODE.

Then choose your cable provider and click SAVE.

Your TITANTV.com program guide should be complete. You will notice there are Tips made available for you to help you along your way. Also, there are options and preferences you may adjust to set up your program guide to your liking. Become familiar with Titan TV and all it has to offer.

To set up the scheduled record event, click your desired program from the guide. A pop up window will appear with program details.

In this case, we are going to Record “The Colbert Report”.

Click the red ‘Record’ button and in a few seconds your PC will have all the necessary information to automatically set up WinTV to record the TV program at the correct time.

To make sure the record even is correctly set, in WinTV v7 click your RIGHT mouse button in the WinTV window and choose SCHEDULER. You should be able to see the program added to the list for a scheduled RECORDING.

If the recording is not there or the channel number or time is not correct, please double check and make sure you chose the correct cable provider and entered the correct information going through Titan TV’s set up.

If you need to re-do the set up. Simply go to your internet options and delete the browsing history/cache and refresh the TitanTV.com screen. (shown below).
