Service Price Increase Utility

This utility gives you the ability to increase service amount, billing amount or both on setups, renewals

and programs. You can increase to a specific dollar amount, by a percentage or by a dollar amount.

You also have the ability to specify if existing orders should be updated as well. Popular ways of

doing an increase are by Start Date, Increase Date or Renewal Date. This can be used in addition to

specific services, location types or a number of other standard and user defined fields to search by.

How do I do a price increase using the Service Price Increase Utility?

In order to use this method for price increases you will need to be utilizing the Increase Date field in

service setups as seen here with an Increase Date populated and the box checked for Increase Price,

which is selected by default.

This brings you to the Price Increase Search screen. In the top portion, you have selection criteria

options, the Include section and Increase options.

Include Open Orders, Setup Status and Total Billed Amount Criteria.

At the bottom of the screen are the search options for Increase Dates and Amounts and the section

In the scenario below, we are doing a price increase for any setups, renewals or programs of ANT-

SERVICE that have a start date before this year and increasing the price by $1 to account for an

increase in my material costs. Enter in the Service ANT-SERVICE and the Ending Start Date of

12/31/2014.

Scroll down and select Increase by $ and enter 1.00.

Scroll back to the top and click on Search.

Click on Add to Batch.

8

From here you have a few options. If you require sending letters out to your customers affected by

the increase, review the documentation on sending Price Increase Letters. To proceed with the price

increase click on Release.

Click OK on the prompt.

The Last Price Increase information will update once it is complete.
