DESCRIPTION

Projects always go wrong. We so often find ourselves working with dreadful clients, on awful projects, with terrible teams and before we know it, our projects have ended in failure. Is there hope? There is, when we start taking some responsibility as project managers, taking ownership and recognizing our role as project leaders. Leadership is about taking ownership – rather than just managing our teams, and our clients, to be successful, we need to lead. It starts with casting a vision and serving our teams to work together towards our North Star. It’s the difference between letting projects happen around us, being another cog that spins around in the machine or leading from the front. So what does leadership look like – how can we as project managers, be better leaders and drive our projects to success?
