What The first and second coming ?

FIRST COMING Once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put

away sin by the sacrifice of himself. (Heb.9: 26)

(To save us from the penalty of sin)

SECOND COMING Unto them that look for him Shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Heb.9: 28)

(To save us even from the presence of sin)

Purpose of His first coming

To proclaim the acceptable years of the Lord (Lk.4: 19; Is.61: 2)

• He to save the sinners. (1.Tim.1: 15, 1.Jn.3: 5)

• He to do the will of God. (Heb.10: 7)

• He was manifested to take away our sins (1.Jn.3: 5)

• He to put away sin by his sacrifice (Heb.9: 26)

• He to take away the sins of the world (1.Jn.1: 29)

• He might destroy the work of the devil (1.Jn.3: 8)

• He to fulfill what is written of him (1.Cor.15: 1-3)
