Scoop ‘em
Each kid had a chance to use the fish net to see how many
plastic floatie fish they could catch in one minute.
Out of the frying pan

The kids used a frying pan to try and get three felt fish into a
container.

Instead of pin the tail on the donkey, we kept with the fish
theme and had the kids try and tape the tail on a fish. It was
fun seeing some of the kids get into spinning each other
around. Mark Lastowski was the closest to getting his fish’s
tail onto the body.
Tape the Tail on the Fish
Goin’ Fishin’
This was by far the game far the game that
that surprised me the most. The object of the game was to “hook” a
fish using a fishing rod. The fish were made out of Styrofoam with a pipe cleaner loop sticking out of the top. I thought the
kids might get discouraged that it was difficult to “hook” the
fish. Instead, they persevered taking their
time and not getting discouraged when the
hook would just miss the loop.
On the back of each fish
was a number.
The kids then went in order
by their number to
choose a fish wall
decoration to take home. Michelle’s steady hand eventually hooks a
