(1) Observe a Problem• What you observe with any of your

senses.

Hearing a problem Ex: a machine making

noiseOr a baby crying .

Seeing a problem

Ex: you see fire .

something wet or hot or cold. Then try

to fix that.

(2) Ask a Question• Ask your self how to solve the

problem.• What is the solution to my problem?

(3) Gather information• To know more about the problem

before trying to solve it.• It will be easier to solve.

(4) Make a hypothesis (guess)• What you think the answer is to your
