Schoology 101A guide for WJKHS students
What is schoology
• Schoology is the Districts new Learning Management System (LMS). Weather you attend class virtually or in person you will use this program to get your class assignments and turn them into your teacher.

Logging into schoology• Go to app.schoology.com• Enter your Username, Password, and the name of your school. To find
your school, enter the name of your school or organization in the School or Postal Code field. As you type, a menu will appear that enables you to select your school.
• Select your school from the list.• Check the box to Remember my School (optional). This setting saves
your school on the current device and browser.• Click Log in.

Navigating schoology
1. Recent Activity: Recent Activity shows all comments and updates pertaining to your schools, courses, and groups. To filter your feed to view only Updates, Polls, or Blog posts, click the Most Recent link in the top corner and select a filtering option.
2. Course Dashboard: The Course Dashboard enables you to view all your courses as a tiled list. From the Course Dashboard, click any one of your courses and go directly to its main landing page. You can also click and drag course tiles to reorder them.
3. Upcoming: The Upcoming area on the right side of your home page displays events, assignments, tests/quizzes, and discussions with a due date. Hovering over each item displays the course or group associated with the item.

1. Search- Search people, courses, and groups.2. Calendar- View your master calendar with personal, course, group,
and school events.3. Mail- Send a message, and view your sent and received messages
with other Schoology users.4. Notification & Request- View your most recent notifications.

1. Your Profile: View your user profile.2. School Name: View your school's profile.3. Settings: Adjust your Account Settings, Privacy, and Notifications.4. Logout: Logout of Schoology

Course FoldersClick on one of your courses to see the details. (information, assignments)• Once you click on a course, you will find course folders.
• Click on the folder name or the dropdown arrow to the left of the folder to see what assignments and materials have been scheduled

AssignmentsClick on the assignment to view content
A green check mark lets you know that you have completed the assignment.
