SAVE The DATES 2014/15The Roundtable

1. Each year The Roundtable will host a winter, summer and fall luncheon series. These will be held in major centres across Canada and will address issues that are significant to families of wealth and philanthropy.2. To enhance the value of its events, The Roundtable will collaborate with other organizations to provide meaningful events for its members. Q Conferences are one of those collaborations. 3. At the heart of The Roundtable is a commitment to seeing the world and the issues we face through the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Towards this end,

The Roundtable will explore the relationship between philanthropy and the spiritual life.4. This yearly flagship event will provide 10–12 couples with access to leading thinkers, influencers, and practitioners on issues relevant to philanthropy and to care for the common good. It will explore best practices, new ideas, experience, and charitable endeavours. In addition, each event will dedicate time to the personal and professional concerns of philanthropists, such as succession planning, family dynamics, philanthropy effectiveness, and social entrepreneurship.

5. The Roundtable will, from time to time, host events in strategic parts of the world at which local political, social, and religious leaders, as well as heads of NGOs, provide a holistic picture of the region’s history, culture, greatest needs, possible solutions, and success stories. 6. From time to time members will propose ideas for events or activities that are consistent with the purposes of The Roundtable. The Roundtable staff will plan and administer these events. This is the first member initiated event.
