Lions Pancakes with Santa Join Santa for pancakes on Saturday morning. Bring the whole family! Beat the line by taking advantage of a great deal - purchase the combo breakfast/admission ticket. Hosted by the San Angelo Lions Clubs. Breakfast will be served in the Stables from 7:30 am - 11:00 am $6.00 PER PERSON FOR BREAKFAST ONLY, $10.00 PER PERSON FOR BREAKFAST/GROUNDS ADMISSION, CHILDREN SIX AND UNDER FREE

Cowboy Chuck Wagon Breakfast Join us for a classic chuck wagon breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, coffee and juice. Sunday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 am hosted by the San Angelo Cowboy Church Chuck Wagon Team. $10.00 PER PERSON IN THE STABLES

Frontier Christmas Ball & Concert Dance to live period music in the historic fort stables on Saturday from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A fun alcohol-free family event of music, dance and entertainment. Period clothing is not required but is encouraged and welcome. $10.00 PER ADULT, $5.00 PER SENIOR/MILITARY/STUDENT, CHILDREN 6 AND UNDER FREE

Indian Lore Learn about Native American culture, listen to Indian lore and make crafts to take home. Refreshments are provided. Join us on Saturday: ages 5-12 at 11:00 am. $10.00 PER CHILD IN THE INDIAN VILLAGE

Miss Birdie’s Tea Party A merry magical Christmas tea party! Lunch, crafts and entertainment will delight girls ages 5-9. Appropriate dress can be casual to dressy. This event sells out, so reserve your spots quickly. There will be two sessions of only 24 children each on Saturday from 10:30am to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 2:30 pm. $10.00 PER CHILD IN QUARTERMASTER BUILDING

Boot Camp Enlist as a soldier of the past! Learn to drill and march, sample soldiers’ rations and take home a souvenir of your trip to the past. Held on Saturday: ages 6-12 at 10:30 am. Refreshments are provided. $10.00 PER CHILD IN BARRACKS 5

Santa’s Workshop Children ages 5-11 will enjoy making holiday crafts to take home. Refreshments are provided. Held on Saturday at 1:30 pm. $10.00 PER CHILD IN THE QUARTERMASTER BUILDING

Christmas Shopping in the Historic Fort Buildings Browse through Officers’ Row, Commissary and Barracks for unique gift ideas brought to you by merchants and artisans from around the state and nation.

Cowboy Church Service Join us for an old- fashioned church service with preaching and singing. Hosted by the San Angelo Cowboy Church on Sunday, at 10:00 a.m. in the Stables.

Santa’s House Children of all ages are invited to Santa’s House! Take the Candy Cane Path to the Headquarters Building. Make an ornament with the Elves, read with Mrs. Claus, and write letters to Santa before visiting with him. Parents are requested to stay with their children.

Base Ball Come out and cheer for your favorite team! The Fort Concho Enterprise will take the field on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

Chapel The old fashioned sounds of Christmas come alive with area church choirs and special entertainers.

Entertainment Area Enjoy the talents of local entertainers in the Arc Light Entertainment Area in Barracks 1.

Gingerbread House & Christmas Cookie Display Step into the Post Hospital to see fanciful gingerbread houses and cookies decked out in their holiday best. Check out creativity in frosting and discover the contest winners!

Christmas Art Display Christmas at Old Fort Concho’s art show! Come to the Quartermaster Building and see the wonderful visions of Christmas submitted by students from around the Concho Valley.

Winter Rendezvous See the soldiers and civilians of the past brought to life by living history reenactors.

Old Santa Angela Visit the Concho Cowboy Company in Old Santa Angela and get a glimpse of some of the best the wild and wooly west has to offer! Hang around - a bit of gunfire might break out.

Historic Walking Tours Experience the history of Fort Concho as a staff member takes you on a free guided tour of the site. Learn more about the establishment and abandonment of the site, the buildings, the people, and the legacy that is Fort Concho. Tours will start at the Visitor Center. Tours will be offered at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.

“A Classic Christmas” Enjoy a free family concert by local band, Broken Glass, as they present classics spanning multiple genres along with seasonal favorites, 2:00 pm on Sunday. FREE IN THE STABLES

Featured Events & Great Attractions

Seating is limited at all FEATURED EVENTS. Tickets are sold on a first-come basis

and are not exchangeable nor refundable. Event tickets do not include grounds admission unless noted. Tickets may be purchased at the Fort Concho Visitors Center in Barracks 1 located on South Oakes Street across from El Paseo or during the event at event location if space is available. Tickets may be requested by mail before November 23rd and will be mailed to you. Tickets requested after this date must be picked up before or during the event at the Visitor Center. Telephone reservations are accepted for credit card purchases only. Parking is conveniently located near Fort Concho at El Paseo de Santa Angela (between

South Oakes Street and the Santa Fe Depot) and at the corner of Burgess and Henry O. Flipper Streets. Handicapped parking is available at the corner of Washington Drive and South Oakes Street. Allow time to enjoy the grounds and visit the merchants and artisans before each event. In

addition to the refreshments offered during featured events, food and beverages will also be available in the food court area near the Headquarters Building, and in the Arc Light Entertainment Area in Barracks 1. To enhance your Christmas at Old Fort Concho experience, we proudly offer ongoing

entertainment for the entire family throughout the grounds!
