Population – 23 Lakh (2001) –> 30 Lakh (2021) Villages – 1183, Panchayats - 248 Children population – 7 Lakh (22%) G. Schools – 1130 (P), 829 (M) -> 1250 Small Private School – 1500 -> 1000 Enrollment per school – 400 (G), 200 (P) Enrollment = (5 + 2) Lakh Teachers required – 25,000

Community CALC

For Government and Small private shcools Housed in Government school or rented rooms 10 computers and Display screen 2 teachers per centre who will stay and teach Identify students not doing well and provide

extra time to use the centre Monthly quaterly test (automated) 1000 CALC in 10 years

Residential Schools

200 Schools (40,000) Separate for girls and boys Learning environment Integrated arrangement Students stay in group of 6-10. Provide CALC facility Seek registration under SSA Loan for education Health, Hygine and Happiness

School Pundit + MIS

Web based MIS that tracks attendance, marks obtained by students, fees, teachers input

School Pundits who service 10 schools for data entry, delivering monthly reports

Provide quaterly advisory note – on how to improve the quality education

Sharing the monitoring tools with parents Self sustaining model Database for 2000 schools

TOT and Policy Advocacy

Training of teachers in leveraging the power of CALC, computer and Internet for education

Set up a center with 100 teachers learning at the same time

Completely residential Short duration training modules Assignment on survey and study and pilot

testing Training of 5,000 teachers per year

Local sourcing of content & Resources

Local content generation excercises Local content around agriculture, health,

sanitation, livelihood, family, market, growth Local web side/ Database development Community ownership/ Sharing Excercises to improve language, maths and
