PSST Pack Separately Ship Together
SanMar’s Pack Separately. Ship
Together (PSST) program is a
collaboration between contract
decorators and SanMar to offer high
levels of service to Promotional
Product Distributors (PPDs). Each
day, SanMar consolidates multiple
orders heading to the same address,
eliminating the need for the PPDs to
bundle orders and making it easier for
contract decorator to know what’s
coming and when. While there is an
investment required from contract
decorators, the program is totally free
to PPDs and offers significant savings
and opportunities to both.
Program Benefits for Promotional Product Distributors
• Free delivery on all orders (excludes mill drop, custom and
specialty retail orders)
• Eliminated restock fees

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN AFRICA
A Message from Jeremy Lott
We're proud of SanMar's global sourcing efforts that allow us to
positively impact the lives of the thousands of people making our
products. From revitalizing communities and paying a fair wage to
creating jobs for people previously unable to work outside the home, it's
one way we all truly make a difference.
I'm particularly proud of our efforts in East Africa. Last year, we
celebrated five years of sourcing from Tanzania. It's been an amazing
experience helping to open doors for people in the region previously
unable to work outside the home. Specifically, 80% of the employees at
the sewing facility are women who, through these jobs, are able to
create a better life for themselves, their families and their community.
We were early pioneers working with manufacturers in East Africa and
plan to expand into other countries there.
In support of these efforts, I recently had phone calls with our elected
officials to extend the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA).
AGOA is a trade preference program that provides duty-free imports of
certain products, including apparel, from Africa. The goal is to support
the continent's growth in apparel sourcing and make it a competitive
force in the marketplace. AGOA passed the deeply divided Senate with
an almost unanimous 99-1 vote.
It is predicted that East Africa will grow into a major garment-sourcing
hub. A recent McKinsey & Company report estimates that by 2035 there
will be more than 900 million working-age people in the region, making
this population as large as China's is today.
It's amazing how far East Africa has progressed in the past two decades.
So long as we can reliability source high-quality goods, keep costs
manageable and support working wage jobs we'll continue seeking
opportunities in the region.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN
TANZANIA
A MESSAGE FROM MARTY LOTT
We're part of a global economy, committed to making a positive impact
wherever we source, manufacture, ship or sell our products. We take
pride in our efforts to improve workers' lives at the factories that
manufacture our products around the world. Recently, I traveled to a
factory in Tanzania to celebrate the five-year anniversary of sourcing
SanMar products in the region.
“IT'S AMAZING TO HEAR ABOUT THE CHANGES IN THIS COMMUNITY
BECAUSE OF THIS FACTORY!”
When SanMar began sourcing some of our products in Africa, it opened
a lot of doors previously closed to women, especially when many of the
men initially hired by the factory decided they didn't want to sew. So
local women picked up scissors, learned how to work sewing machines
and now make up over 80% of the factory's workers. In a country where
women seldom work outside of the home, that's a huge source of pride
and accomplishment.
The jobs provided by this manufacturing facility create a ripple effect
throughout the entire community. With steady paid work, employees
invest in their neighborhoods by shopping at local merchants, eating the
occasional meal out and even purchasing a home for their families. It's
amazing to hear about the changes in this community because of this
factory!
Efforts such as this, as well as the positive work we do in South America
and Asia, led to our Fair Labor Association accreditation and it's not
something we take lightly. We pride ourselves on the commitments we
make to sourcing and manufacturing in a responsible and ethical way
throughout our global supply chain.
