• They were the philosophers, scientists, theologians, priests, teachers, judges, seers, doctors and intellectuals of their culture.

What do druids believe

PolytheismThey believe in a multiplicity of gods andgoddesses, as well as weaker beings, manyof Whom are worthy of respect andworship.

Magic and MysteryThey believed that with proper training, art, discipline and will, human minds and hearts are fully capable of performing most of the magic and they are ever likely to need.

Positive EthicsThey believe that ethics and morality should be based upon joy, love, self-esteem and respect.

What are the major druid festivals?

• The festival of Samhain, of honouring the dead and the ending of the year

• The first festival of Summer, of Fertility, Pleasure and Union
