According to figures, by 2030, World's elderly population will be up to 16 percent of total population.

In Iran from 7.3% come up to 17.5%.

It is forecasted by 2050 one out of every four people in Iran is aged one.

•Iran's largest city and the world’s 19th largest city.

Tehran is 4% of the size of the country), and it is divided into 22 districts ,124 sub-districts (Nahiye) and 374 neighborhoods.

The mission of Director General Office for Health in Tehran municipality is the promotion of citizen’s health through development of social networks.

To achieve this aim, community health centers and Elderly Clubs were launched throughout the neighborhoods with the approach to reduce inequity in health and to promote inter-sectorial collaboration and public participation.

Tailoring pathways (sidewalks, streets), urban furniture, parks, leisure places, shrines, health services.

Collecting, setting, developing and delivering construction standards for residential, commercial and public building to reduce events could endanger the health of the elderly.
