There are many different types of invertebrates.

LIKE MANY VERTEBRATES,INVERTEBRATES LAY EGGS.

HABITATS

There are habitats in:

Tropical rainforest

The Arctic region

Savannah

Desert

Temperate forests

Each habitat has different conditions

Hot Warm Cool Cold

Humid Dry

The Arctic region

It’s very cold and it usually snows

no trees and only a few plants grow in the summer.

Artic fox and polar bears.

These animals have a thick, white fur to protect them from the cold and for camouflage

Tropical rainforest

Tropical rainforests are hot and humid

They have a lot of rain.

Many different types of trees, bushes nad grasses grow here

Tucans, frogs, btterflies and leopards live here

Temperate forest

They are both, warm and cool in summer, and cold in winter.

They can have bushes, grasses and deciduous or evergreen trees.

Squirrels, foxes and bears live here.

Are hot and dry.

Plants, such as cacti grow here.

Deserts are habitats for nocturnal animals

Desert

Savannah

Savannahs are hot and very dry for most of the year.

It rains in the summer when it’s humid. When it rains plants grow.

Zebras, giraffes, gazelles and elephants live there

Living things can live in the WATER and on LAND

There are SALTWATER HABITATS

And FRESHWATER HABITATS

Oceans and seas are saltwater habitats.

Rivers and lakes are freshwater habitats

The food chainPRODUCER CONSUMER CONSUMER DECOMPOSER

In an ecosystem, living things interact witheach other and their habitat to get food.

When communities interact with other communities and their surroundings they form an ecosystem.HABITAT
