Refugee/Entrant Vocational Education, Services and Training

Program

• Started in 1999 • Contract with the Office of Refugee

Services, Department of Children and Families, Florida.

• Adult Education program to serve refugees and asylees from all nationalities

REVEST Program Services

• VESOL: 4 levels of intensive English for Speakers of Other Languages, GED and Citizenship preparation

• Vocational Training: Over 300 courses and over 40 programs of study as CWE, CCC and CTEC

• Work from Home: activities correlated to syllabus; students develop skills working at their own pace; expanded listening activities beyond class time limitations
