    ( ) 1Port and Harbor in the world is growing so fast. And the selection of a suitable pavement thickness for this kind of construction is very important. Moreover, Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) is one good material that have been used widely for this heavy duty pavement. But the port pavement thickness design method for this kind of material haven't been developed widely yet. This research objective is to find a optimal thickness design method of the port pavement by comparing three different design methods.

    2 The key point in designing the thickness of the port pavement are the traffic load consideration, environmental effects and drainage consideration. To determine these factors, 3 different design method will be used based on Heavy Duty Pavement, AASHTO 1993 and Mechanistic-Empirical Methods.

    3From 12/2014 to 12/2015, all relevant literature review and tests should be finished. From 12/2015 to 12/2016, all data analysis and thesis writing are needed to be completed. The thesis presentation is expected to be within 2 years from 12/2014.
