A letter of acknowledgement is both

a receipt and a public relations tool.

Its objective is to let the reader know

that items requested in a prior

communication, usually an inquiry or

an order letter, have been received.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT LETTERS

FOLLOW UPS LETTERS

Follow up letters to send after an

interview, and to follow up on a resume

or a job application you have submitted.

CONFIRMATION LETTERS

A well-worded confirmation

letters helps you:

- ratify

-approve

-strengthen one's resolve

-give new assurance of the -------

REMITTANCES LETTERSA document sent by a customer, which is often

a financial institution or other type of firm, to a

creditor or supplier along with a payment to

briefly explain what the payment is for so that

the customer's account will be credited

properly. Remittance letters are often used

when the customer does not have a fully

established account with the counter party.

ORDER ACKNOWLEDGMENTS LETTERS

The Order Acknowledgement is

a letter that can be sent to your

customer confirming receipt of

there order and requesting any

further information that may be

required to proceed with their

order

STOPGAP LETTERS

When thorough response to an

incoming letter must be delayed, receipt

of the letter must be acknowledged.

These acknoweledgement letter are

called STOPGAP LETTERS.

INQUIRY REPLY LETTERS

This letter is often a reply to the

correspondence between the Estate

agents and the owners of the property.

This formal type of the letter has its

own structural rules that can be seen in

the example below. The example can be

used as a template.

REFUSAL LETTER

A letter written typically in response to a job offer, or occasionally

another similar invitation. In regards to a job, a refusal letter is written

when a company offers a position to an individual who must

refuse due to his or her circumstances, such as already having accepted

another offer, or simply a lack of interest in this particular job. There

is no particular format or specifications of a refusal letter, but

most times an individual will try to be as polite as possible in

their rejection. Typically, courtesy suggests writing the letter as

promptly as possible upon making one’s decision, so the company

can search for other promising employees.
