In that time we have supported over 400 young people into employment
with the Council

Last year we recruited 48 additional MAs –
the most in any one year

This took the number of MAs employed to 78 –
the most at any one time EVER

Our MAP covers two areas - • Office-based programme
• Craft / construction programme
Modern Apprenticeship Programme
Office-based programme
Available in a variety of areas – could include:• Business Support• Customer Service• Human Resources• Financial Services• Document Solution Centre• Housing • Social Work• Schools
Craft / construction programme
Could be employed as a:• Joiner• Electrician• Slater / roofer• Plumber / gas engineer• Painter / decorator• Bricklayer• Storesperson• Horticulture / Green keeper• Motor Vehicle Mechanic
What do we need?
Entry Requirements• Aged between 16 – 19 years old• Resident within the Renfrewshire area
PLUS
Craft / Construction Programme• 3 Standard grades at band 4 or above
Office –based Programme• 2 Highers at Band C or above

SVQ Level 3 qualification.
