Chrysler Ride and Drive is Back! On Sunday, June 3rd from 8:30 to 11:30 St.
Mary School will be hosting a fabulous fundraiser
that is so easy that it only takes about 10 minutes
of your time! Here’s how it works. For anyone 18
years of age or older who test drives a car around
the parking lot on Sunday, June 3rd, Chrysler will donate $10.00 to our school! That’s all there is to
it! Imagine earning $10.00 for our school for only
about 10 minutes of your time. How much easier
can it be?! But wait; it gets even better! If we can
get 100 test drives, we will get a bonus of $250.00! Wait there’s more; if we can get 150 test
drives, Chrysler will add an extra $500.00 to our
total! How awesome is that? Can it get any
better? Yes it can! If we have the largest number
of test drives in our region, Chrysler will award an
additional $5000.00 to our school! How exciting is that?! Please come, bring your family, friends, and
neighbors to test drive a car to help raise easy
money for our school. While you are here you can
enjoy a wonderful breakfast cooked by the Men’s
Club with special guest star Cinderella! Bring your little princesses and princes to enjoy Cinderella
and raise money for St. Mary School. All money
raised will go towards the purchase of our new
Reading Curriculum. Thank you so much for your
help. ~Veronica Kinsey
WORSHIP SPACE CLOSED FOR CLEANING
June 18 – 22, 2012
The worship space floors are scheduled to be waxed this summer. This area will be closed for 5 days (JUNE 18-22)! Communion Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday & Tuesday of this week. We need volunteers to help with moving the chairs out: Sunday, June 17th (after 11:30am Mass) & Monday, June 18th (at 8am). Then moving them back again on Friday, June 22nd at 8am!
MEMORIAL DAY 2012 The Preamble to the Constitution of
The American Legion calls on us to
“preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the Great Wars…” It is important that all veterans, their families and –
in fact, all Americans – pause to reflect on, remember and give thanks to our many heroes. We owe them no less. We must never
forget what these heroes have done and what their loved ones have
lost.
SUPPORT VOCATIONS & CATHOLIC
MILITARY CHAPLAINS Currently, 285 Catholic military chaplains provide pastoral
care to over 1.5 million Catholics on ships, in combat, on bases
and in 153 VA hospitals. Today in the bulletin, there is a form
for the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) to fund
their Co-Sponsored Seminarian Program, which identifies
vocations within the military and is now educating 30 men for
the priesthood and subsequent military chaplaincy. The AMS
has no parishes from which to draw financial support and relies
solely on donations. See the bulletin insert or website for more
information: http://www.milarch.org/faq
BREAKFAST WITH CINDERELLA The Men's Club is proud to welcome
the return of "Cinderella" for our June
3rd Breakfast event! Breakfast is served
8:30 until 11:00am and as always is a
Free-Will Donation. Cinderella invites
all her little princess friends to come in
costume as she'll be arriving at 9:45am
and performing from 10:15 until
10:45am. Proceeds from the event to be
used to help support our Parish Festival. Our delicious menu is
widely considered the best in the area. Bring the grandparents
and the cameras for an event the whole family will enjoy. For
further information please contact the office or Bob at (810)
623-0300.
THANK-YOU FROM THE MEN'S CLUB Thanks to team effort and the tremendous support we

to thank our special musical guest, Marie Schlepers for sharing

Today we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit, the birth of the Church and the beginning of its
mission in the world. Pentecost Sunday reminds us that our lives are filled with the Holy Spirit and God has accomplished creative things in us through this gift. We have been entrusted with this great gift of
the Holy Spirit. Now is a good time to ask: Are we being good stewards of this gift?
What creative things have we done to glorify God’s accomplishments in us?
