What we achieved 2014/2015• Not a single match was played
without official referees. • Consolidated the number of
referee’s database and increase the potential newcomers to start in 2015/2016
• Introduction of group referees nominated for the woman’s tournaments based league.
• Tested with success the “participants list” on the woman’s tournaments based league.
• IOHA provided referee jersey to the most active referees in the Irish Olympic Handball League.
Objectives for 2015/2016• Referees course to be held before
the beginning of the national league competition.
• Update of the referees database for 2015/2016
• Quarterly forum (TBD) with referees to address issues, concerns, technical replay of a European match with focus on key topics in line with EHF referees guideline and directives for 2015/2016.
Objectives for 2015/2016
• Work in cooperation with the Irish National Team on their preparation for upcoming tournaments and competitions.
• Nominate via IOHA a team of referees for the EHF Youth Referee Program starting 2016/2017.
Objectives for 2015/2016• Recalculate in conjunction
with all League teams the referees fees (travel expenses for i.e. Cork, NI) for each game of regular season and playoff. Introduce the payment to referees on the IOHA CUP beginning in 2015/2016.
• Provide referees with the minimal conditions for performing their tasks. (Cards, notecard, whistle (Fox 40 or similar).

• 2 minute suspension document for table official display/hand out to teams.
