Then you’ll never have to wonder

It’s story of hard work and its value of Picasso a very famous painter born in
Spain.
One day when Picasso was walking through a road a woman who was passing by
same road saw Picasso. She recognized him and ran to him she said to him, “am big fan
of yours. I like your paintings very much. Please will you make me a painting too....??”
Picasso smiled at request and, “I have nothing to paint I am empty handed here. I will
make you a painting some other time. “Woman replied, “I don’t know if will be able to
meet you again or not... Please make me a painting now”. On being insisted so much by
women Picasso took out a small piece of paper and pen out of his pocket and began to
make something on that paper. Within 10 seconds Picasso completed drawing handed
that paper to that woman and said, “Take this it’s a million dollar painting.” Woman find
it strange that how can he make a complete drawing within 10 seconds and is saying that
it would value million dollar painting. Woman thanked him and took that painting with
her. After she reached home she thought that may be Picasso was joking about value of
that drawing he made for her.
So, she went to market to know about the right value of painting. She was
surprised to know that drawing actually worth million dollars. After that woman again
got a chance to meet Picasso. She was very excited to see him. She went to him and said,
“Sir, you were right that drawing you made was worth million dollars.”
She continued, “Sir, please make me your student please teach me how to paint so
that I am able to paint you made million dollar painting in such small time.”
Picasso smiled and said, “Dear, this drawing which I made in 10 seconds, it values
million dollar. This value is of 30 years of my life I gave to Hard work, struggle and
dedication towards learning arts.” If you want to do this give your life to this and
you will also be able to make painting like this.” Woman was speechless.
When we see other successful people we think that they got it easy...what we don’t
realize is the hard work and time hidden behind that success.
Nobody see that Hard work and patience. Everyone see only success but they
don’t see that one have to sacrifice life in preparation and to achieve that success.
Success seeks experience and struggle.

RAIN IN SUMMER
How beautiful is the rain! And swift and wide,
After the dust and heat,With a muddy tide,
If the board and fiery street,Like a river down the gutter roars
In the narrow lane,The rain, the welcome rain!
How much beautiful rain!In the country on every side,
How it clatters along the roofs,Where fair and wide,
Like the tramp of hoofs!Like a leopard’s towny and spatted hide,
How it gushes and struggles outStretches the plain
From the throat of the over flowing spout! To the dry grass and the drive grain
Across the window paneHow welcome is the rain!
It paws and paws;Pratima Pal

CHILD LABOURChild Labour is the practice of having children engage in economic activity, on a
part or full time basis. The practice deprives children of their childhood, and is harmful to
their physical and mental development Poverty, lack of good schools and the growth of
the informal economy are considered to be the key causes of child labour in India.
The 1998 national census of India estimated the total number of child labourers,
aged 4 to 15, to be at 126 million, out of a total child population of 253 million in the 5 to
14 age group. However, in 2009 - 10 a nationwide survey found the prevalence of child
labour had reduced to 498 million children (or less than 2% of the children in the 5 to 14
age group). The 2011 national census of India found the total number of child labourers ,
aged 5-14, to be at 4.35 million, and the total child population to be 259.64 million in that
age group. The child labour problem is not unique to India. Indian law specifically
defines 64 industries as hazardous and it is a criminal offence to employ children in such
hazardous industries. In 2001, an estimated 1% of all child workers or about 120,000
children in India were in a hazardous job. Anuj

‘Time and Tide wait for none’ Time is a most precious thing in our life. It is very
important for human beings whether he is working or a student; Now a days life is very

great mind. So use happily every minute of life for good things and great purpose. Time
management is very important for student to get success in their lives. A person who

Time can make you or break you. If you make use of time you can make your

ENRICHING COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Communication is the act of conveying intended meanings from one entity or group
to another through the use of mutually understood sings and semiotic rules.
It has been said that the art of communication is the language of leadership, but
these days we find that communication is losing its shine and lustre. Gradually
communication is getting degraded. Soft and kind words are missing out of
communication. Even the vocabulary and the selection of words are also losing its
importance.
Communication is a skill that one can learn. It’s like riding a bicycle or typing. If
one is willing to work at it, one can rapidly enhance the quality of every part of one’s life.
So, the need of the hour is to start learning good communication skills.
Make ourselves motivated to be a good orator, express our feelings in better way.
Increase our word power, enrich our vocabulary. Motivate the growing generation, our
children the future citizen to be a good communicator and a good human being to lead the
world. As it has been rightly said-
‘Kind words can be short and easy to speak, But their Echoes Are Truly
Endless’.- By MOTHER TERESA
fo|ky; if=dk
18
Use of kind words in communication makes one feel better and the understanding
and expression also becomes effective. To be a good communicator we have to become a
good listener because most of the successful people know are the ones who do more
listening than talking.
So we must Write to be Understood, speak to be Heard and Read to Grow. It is an
appeal for all to learn good communication skills to express yourself in a much better way.
Language is beautified by good communication. So knowing the language is not enough,

‘Teaching - above to All
Just imagine, what would happen if we were untaught. Surely, we
would remain ignorant or unknown to our beautiful planet ‘The Earth’
moreover, the universe, a complicated mystery created by God. Every
child whether he/ she takes birth in his/her country or in another country
remains unknown to the worldly things as well as worldly relations unless
he / she is well explained about it.
Our mind is indeed a store house of miracles. The need is to tackle
it. A teacher does it intelligently and artistically. This is the creator of all
the worldly jobs. We therefore can say that ‘The job of teaching is the
father of all the worldly jobs. there are two types of teaching. One runs
towards humanity and second one run towards anti - humanity. What to
choose, depends on the chooser. If one is well bred and well taught,
surely, he would choose, the right path that leads to humanity. None but a
teacher reveals all the worldly mysteries and complication by opening the
minds eye of their taughts. When we cast our glance a bit back, we come to
know that it was none but a teacher who installed Rama, Krishna, Karva,
Arjuna etc. Teaching is a word that assumes and multi purpose in itself.
But today, due to worldly hunger, people do not prefer it. They do
not know its vital global significance.

OUR NATIONAL FLAG
The Indian National flag is the symbol of the land & people of
India. Our National flag is a tricolour panel made up of 3 rectangular
panels or sub-panels of equal widths. The colour of top panel of India is
saffron (Kesaria) & that of the bottom is India Green. The middle panel
is white, bearing at its centre the design of the Ashoka chakra in navy
blue colour with 24 equally spaced spokes. The Ashoka chakara is
visible on both sides of the flag in the centre of white panel. The flag is
rectangular in shape with ratio of the length to the height being 3:2.
Dr. S Radhakrishnan explained about the national flag in the
constituent Assembly which adopted it, “Bhagwa or the saffer on colour
denotes renunciation or disinterestedness. The white in the centre is
light, the path of truth to guide our conduct. The green shows our
relation to the soil, our relation to the plant life here on which all other life
depends. The Ashoka wheel is the wheel of the law of dharma.
Truth or sathya, dharma or virtue ought to be controlling principle of
those who work under this flag. Again, the wheel denotes mother. T h e r e i s l i f e i n m o v e m e n t . I n d i a m u s t m o v e & g o f o r w a r d . ”

Once upon a time, long - long ago seven colour had a fight and it
went on so ...... violet said, I am best because I am so rare. Indigo said, the
world is beautiful just because I am there. Green said, I colour trees so
best of all must be me . Blue said, I am the best because I colour the sky.
Yellow said, I am the best because I colour the sun. Orange said, But in
the evening sun and I am one. Red said, I am the best, but please let us not
fight. Let us go to the lord, and he will say who is right. All the colours
then went to God and God told them so .... You look best when you are
one and make a rainbow All the colours then shook hands and said to God
‘ Good bye’ and rushed to make a lovely, little rainbow in the sky.

TRUE FRIENDS
When our spirits need a lift,
Our friends are with us like a gift.
A friend is who fills our lives with joy and grace,
And makes the world a happier place.
Friends are like day and night,
And like birds of similar flight.
A friend is with when we need advice,
Or need a shoulder for cries.
A friend is someone who brightens up the day
By saying that forever together we’ll stay.
Though friends may not be forever near,
And they may not stay together,
But the memories of a true friend will last forever!!!
