God’s work entrusted to us;

The church is God's agency for the proclamation of truth, empowered by Him to do a special work; and if she is loyal to Him, obedient to all His commandments, there will dwell within her the excellency of divine grace. AA p. 602

Christ has given to the church a sacred charge. Every member should be a channel through which God can communicate to the world the treasures of His grace, the unsearchable riches of Christ. AA p. 602

Many of the greatest scholars and statesmen, the world's most eminent men, will in these last days turn from the light because the world by wisdom knows not God. Yet God's servants are to improve every opportunity to communicate the truth to these men. AA p.242

Christ command is

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

Ricardo Norton said,

The entire societies exist completely unaware of the gospel even in Christian-dominated hemisphere there are millions of people who do not believe in the Bible and think that going to church is a waste of time. Evangelism Principle & practice page 9

God’s command indicates that Christians must take initiative to reach these communities.

Christ followers are the “ light of the world and agent of salvation unto the end of the earth”

I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; Isaiah 42:6

The incursion into territories to share the gospel of Jesus is called penetration through Mass Media

This evangelism attemps to reach people where they are and carries the gospel across barriers that obstruct its entrance.

In intentionally seeks opportunities and unbiased ways to take the good news to the quarters where the unreached reside..

Penetration evangelism;

Jesus the paragon of evangelism began His Ministry with this type of evangelism…

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. Matt. 9 :35

As christians we cannot afford to ignore this universal principle.

Adventists cannot sit back and wait for visitors to come to our congregations.

Today’s secular society views Religious gatherings as irrelevant, taking no initiative to vsit Christian churches. The Saviour’s example teaches that Christian must take the church to them. Evan. Principles & practice p. 10

Entering today’s hardshelled social structure is not easy...

How can evangelism penetrate the vertical villages of Makati, Hongkong, Tokyo, Singapore , to huge high rise apartment buildings, condominium which are totally sealed to visitors, to villages in thehinterlands unreachable by laymen?

How can Christianity, with different Bible, penetrate

Muslims, Buddhists And other religious denominations?

How can the gospel be instilled in the face of society’s current tendencies toward

Materialism prejudice, Secularism Scientism Atheism

and many ideologies that antagonize Adventism & Christianity?

How we can penetrate hostile territories, thus paving the way of the Gospel? It is,

Mass Media Evangelism- Penetrating difficult places and mentalities requires tact, love patience, and non confrontational methods to penetrate. Mass Media is probaly the easiest way to penetrate hard-to-enter homes to share the good news of the gospel.

This means of communication is so well accepted that many would watch and listen to individuals through radio and television that the would not let their homes in person. At the same time, people who may shut their doors to agents of the gospel may listen to them through appropriate television or radio programs in the privacy of their living room or automobile.

The potential of mass media for evangelism is paramount. literature, radio, telephone, cellphone, direct mail, eamail and television have added new dimension to evangelism

We have the fact that many of those who access to radio, television, and the internet several hours in a day in contact with these communication systems.

Christians can now contact sinners in their homes without physically invading their privacy they can capture their attention through nonreligious programs at first then share the gospel with them right where they are.

To have an idea of the power o television for instance, it is calculated that Jesus may have talked to as many as 30,000 persons during His lifetime, while Jerry Falwell may talk to 30,000,000 in one broadcast. Delos Miles, Introduction to Evangelism p. 269
