Application Requirements• Cover letter addressed to the Executive Director• Endorsement by Agency Head/Consortium Director or by the

Division Director for PCAARRD sta� • Duly accomplished application/information sheet

(downloadable from the PCAARRD website)• Copy of journal where article is published• Certi� cate or a� davit from Agency Head and co-authors

that the article has not been previously granted incentives for publication and will no longer be submitted for a similar incentives program

• Screenshot showing that the journal is included in the list of CHED-accredited journal or indexed in Scopus, and/or Thomson Reuters (Institute for Scienti� c Information [ISI])

• For co-author (corresponding author) submissions, a statement of the co-author’s contributions to the research paper duly a� rmed by the lead author

The Publication Incentives Program promotes scienti� c productivity by motivating researchers, authors, and PCAARRD sta� to publish their research results in local refereed and/or international journals indexed by Thomson Reuters (ISI) or Scopus or accredited/recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), but are not classi� ed as predatory.

Cash incentive ranges from P25,000 to P80,000 depending on the quality of publication determined through its impact factor among other considerations.

Who can apply?• Principal researchers of on-going/completed PCAARRD- or

DOST-funded/coordinated programs;• PCAARRD or Accelerated Science and Technology Human

Resource Development Program scholars;• PCAARRD sta� ; and• Researchers from the National Agriculture, Aquatic, and

Natural Resources Research and Development Network

Selection CriteriaResearch results must be:

• Article should be aligned with PCAARRD’s Banner Programs or the Harmonized National R&D Agenda for the Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Sector as evidenced by a certi� cation from the technical research division concerned;

• Not previously granted incentives for publication (as certi� ed by the researcher’s head of o� ce); and

• Submitted to PCAARRD within six months from publication.

Program IncentivesQuali� ed applicants will receive cash incentives for having published articles, as follows:

TR-listed journal with impact factor (IF)= 0 < .5 or Scopus CiteScore = 0 < 35

P 60,000

SCIb-, SSCIc- IF > .5 but < 2.0000;or Scopus CiteScore = 0 < 35 but < 65

P 70,000

SCI-, SSCI- with ISI IF of > 2.0000or Scopus CiteScore = > 65

P 80,000
