Objectives
To present an overview of the production/operations function, that will allow students to acquire knowledge to understand the new competitive dynamicsassociated to the current manufacturing systems.
In particular a special emphasis is given to the identification, modelling and resolution of operational problems related to the design, analysis and improvement of manufacturing systems and to their planning and control.

� Contents: Project overview, Methodology description and main results.

� Title and Abstract (English).
� Introduction – projects motivation, related scientific background and reasons for the selected methodology.
� Methodology – description of the manufacturing system, assumptions and summary of the work developed.
� Results analysis – diagnosis, main pitfalls and its causes
� Solutions purposed – solutions description and expected impacts
� Conclusions – Adequacy of the methodology used and overall benefits
