• Meant to illustrate a tipping point or a phase transition where incremental changes have large scale effects

• The Grand Ah-Whoom is all about collective behaviour and the rise and fall of political or social movements

We have reached the media equivalent of the Grand Ah-Whoom

According to Forrester Research:

• 4 out of 5 online Canadians use social media

• 57 % participate in social networks at least once a month

• That is greater than any market regularly surveyed by Forrester

• If you include all views across all social networks just under 80% of Canadians use social networks in one form or another
