1.GENERAL - IN

Use the preposition “in” when indicating time and a place in general. For example:

PLACETIME

centuries (the 1800s)decades (the 80s)

years (1970, 1980)

country (Prague)city (Cebu City)neighborhood (Chinatown)

Example sentences:

Inflation rate was very high in April and June.

Use the preposition “on” when indicating a more specific time and place . For example:

Use the preposition “at” when indicating a very specific time and place . For example:
