The school is named after a Lithuanian honored teacher and children’s literature writer Pranas Pranas Mašiotas. Mašiotas.

• Klaipėdos Prano Mašioto Secondary School was established in 1997.

• The school was reorganized into a basic school in 2008. • Teaching is based on Christian values in order to make

moral education the basis of the whole educational process.

Today there are 649 pupils at school. 258 of them learn according to primary education program and 356 of them according to basic education program.

Primary classes are emphasized on targeted artistic education.
