TITLE: Metabolomics and cell of origin underlie cancer epigenomes SUMMARY:Cancer development is commonly ascribed to the genetic alterations, whetherinherited or acquired. These commonly promote epigenetic reprogramming toinducetranscriptionalprogramsfavorabletodedifferentiationandlong-termself-renewal.However,cancercanalsoariseindependentlyofgeneticalterations.Forinstance,pediatricependymomasarefreeofrecurrentgeneticalterations.Yet,theyharborepigeneticalterationsthatdrivetumorgrowth.Inthispresentation,wewillexploretheintricaterelationshipbetweengenetics,epigeneticsandmetabolomicsincancer.
