Hello!
I’m a 25 year old architect, illustrator, and die hard fan of 2d point and click games, looking for a new adventure! My journey started around 1997, when I had my first contact with adven-ture games such as Monkey Island and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlan-tis, and proceeded to draw characters on the walls, to my parents’ des-peration. (Taking my pencils away did not help, I used an apple to draw instead).
In 2007, I started taking drawing classes, in preparation for the admis-sion exam of the “Ion Mincu” architecture school in Bucharest - during these two years, I learned the principles of perspective, lighting and coloring, in pencil, colored pencil and charcoal - drawing as much as 8-10 50x70cm boards per week.
The first three years of architecture school offered me the possibility to experiment with different drawing techniques, from pencil to watercolor and paintings on glass.
During my two years of masters in Paris, I travelled around the world, either on my own or participating in international workshops - documenting my experiences in drawings, and working in international teams, speaking french, english and spanish.
Working and studying in Paris for the last 4 years has had several bene-fits - learning a new language in a matter of months, travelling, learning how to adapt to different environments and opening my eyes towards illus-tration and graphic design as careers, not just hobbies.
Playing Deponia, The Whispered World, or Dead Synchronicity has remind-ed me of the witty charm of the retro point and clicks, combined with the stunning hand drawn graphics (that I wished I would have participated in myself!). What I appreciate the most is the fact that you managed to keep this genre relevant today, and that is something I want to take part in.
Although I shamelessly cheated my way through architecture school & jobs using my drawing skills, I’m afraid I won’t be able to fool them much lon-ger. Which is why working with you as a background artist would be the perfect balance between my architecture background, drawing enthousiasm and love for retro games.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.Best regards,

Bien cordialement,
