The following is a list of analytical POPs standard producers/suppliers used for laboratory-scale

research or as a reference standard which is allowed under the Stockholm Convention.1 The data

was obtained mainly from internet research 2 for: aldrin, alpha HCH, beta HCH, chlordane,

chlordecone, DDT, dieldrin, endrin, heptachlor, hexabromobiphenyl, hexa-chlorobenzene, lindane,

mirex, octabromodiphenylether, pentabromodiphenylether, pentachlorobenzene, PFOS, PFOSNa,

PFOSF, toxaphene, and endosulfan.

This list is not considered complete and needs be regularly updated. Companies which produce or

supply POPs standards, but are not listed here as well as companies that are no longer producing

and/or supplying laboratory-scale standards and want to be removed of the list are welcome to

contact the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention. Any updates or corrections to this list can be
