Prepared forSuccessPolitical science includes the study ofindividual and group politicalbehavior, governing institutions andpublic policy. It uses a variety ofqualitative and quantitative methods

to study issues at the local, nationaland global levels. Few aspects of lifeare unaffected by politics; therefore,political science is an effective meansfor a broad preparation for life.Typical positions held by politicalscience graduates include politicallobbyist, legislative aide, public sectoradministrator, campaign manager/consultant, and secondary teacher orcollege professor. Access to a widevariety of statistical databases haveallowed students in public opinionand voting classes gain valuableexperience as they analyze some ofthis data in computer labs. We offerthe advantage of small classes andpersonal attention where one-on-onediscussions are vital to learning.
