It is produced by
traditional bee yards in Podkarpacie. Honeydew honey is made from the honeydew that bees collect from the European silver fir tree. This product has been on the EU’s protected designation of origin list since August 2010.
It has a special spicy flavor and delicate aroma. It is
dark brown with a little green. It is strongly connected with Podkarpacie area and two national parks, the Bieszczadzki and the Magurski. Forest beekeeping in Podkarpacie has a long tradition – since 1478.

Honey has antibacterial properties and can be used on scrapes and small cuts to prevent infection.
It is good for colds, heart disease, immune system and anaemia.
