How to Use Pod-o-Matic

Go to http://www.podomatic.com.

Click on the “Sign up for PodOmatic” link.

Click on the “Sign Up” button under “Basic” to sign up for a free account.

Fill out all necessary information and then click on “Join PodOmatic.”

You will be re-directed to your homepage. You can opt to update your status in the space provided.

To get started, click on the “Podcasts” link and then choose your desired category from the drop-down menu.

A list of podcasts will appear. Click on the one you want to listen to.

When you mouse over the desired podcasts, a pop-up window featuring some stats will appear.

The link you clicked on will bring you to a new web address. Click on your desired podcast.

For this podcast, click on the “Download” link.

A pop-up will appear. Click on “OK” to open the podcast file.

Your Windows Media Player window will appear and play your podcast.

You can choose podcasts based on their city location. Just click on “Cities” and a drop-down menu will appear.

You can opt to create your own podcast. Click on “Publish” – “Podcast” – “Create.” Follow the steps thereafter.

You can also make a minicast (an audiovisual presentation). Click on “Publish” – “Minicast” – “Create.” Follow the steps provided.
