Time to explain physical characteristics
There are caves in Korea.
Like the Songam Cave.
As are many magnificent lakes.
Like Heaven Lake.
And many very tall mountains
Like the Baekdu Mountain.
In fact mountains are everywhere.
And trees.
That look like American trees.
There’s plenty of animals too.
Like the red-crowned crane
And the red panda
And the Japanese macaque
Most animals are endangered though.
The nearby continent affects Korea
Korea has a “monsoonal climate”
It’s inherited from East Asia
Me again? Already?
It gets to -3 Celcius
In winter
In summer it gets to…
23 degrees Celsius
Storms are abundant here
That’s good for transplanting rice
What isn’t good is typhoons
That hit twice a year
