Control and Automation Lab: This lab includes Robotic Systems, CNC machine, Computers with Data Acquisition Cards, Pneumatic Systems, and Gyroscope System

Embedded Controllers Lab: This lab includes microcontroller kits, Digital Signal Processes Kits, and Field Programmable Gate Arrays.

Mechatronic System Design Lab: It is an integrated mechanical, electronic, computer and sensors lab including (proximity, ultrasonic, speed, force, and temperature), different actuators (DC, AC, and stepper), power electronic components, digital logic components, and microcontrollers.

Research and Development Lab: This lab includes PC workstations with

dedicated software tools such as MATLAB and Labview.

• Students are taught to follow a clear design strategy that involves theory, modeling, simulation, and implementation.

What is TEMPUS ?

Trans European Mobility Program for university Studies (TEMPUS) is a European Community program designed to support the development and restructuring of higher education systems in Europe and Partner Countries in the Mediterranean region, Western Balkans, Russia, the Caucasus countries and the Central Asian Republics.

Masters Program in Mechatronics

PU will launch its MS program in Oct. 2013

There are two options for the program:

1. Double degree program between Philadelphia University (PU) and Bochum Applied Science University (BO), Germany.

2. Single degree program from PU.

Conditions of Admittance

A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university with one of the following areas: Mechatronics, Electrical, Communication, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering.

G.P.A. of “good” or above.

A score of 500+ in the TOEFL exam ( ITP), IBT (61), Local English Exam (75).
