Pneumonia (VAP)

• To present the rationale for the change in VAP definitions

• To present the revised VAE Protocol of the NHSN

• To define Ventilator Associated Conditions (VAC), Infection-Related Ventilator-Associated Complications (IVAC) and Possible Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (PVAP)

• Lower than 3rd world countries but beyond the 90th percentile of the US data
