Inspired by Venice Carnival our theatrical Pettiskirts make a Joyful Party of it’s own. Everyone can wear them at any occasion, everyday.

An Italian tradition, Carnival takes place before Lent. In

Venice of the XVIII century this period had been extended

to include the opening of the theater season at the

beginning of October. The idea behind wearing masks was

that nobility and common people could mix and interact,

all of them hidden behind masks, which meant social

distinction disappeared. As we stated ...for everyone!

Dress up or down our pettiskirts are very easy to combine. Wear with a blouse, cardigan, T-shirt

with or without print and of course our lovely ruffled tops. Pair with bare legs in summer and

with panties, tights, leggings, leg warmers, high socks etc. when it’s colder. Complete with

                                            Director and creator Anne-Marie van Dijk started her business in 2005 after having four of her now five children , who were a very important inspiration, aswell as her love for outstanding stylish products, fashion, photography, trading, graphics and creative design. She is very well known for her creativity since she was a child. As a young girl she was always passionate about beautiful shops and shop-windows.
