1. Create a new content reference1.1 PeopleTools > Portal > Structure and Content

1. 2 Scroll down to bottom -> Add Content Reference

1.3 Fill in all necessary general information for the content reference, such as Name, Label, URL info, Component Parameters.

Can use a delivered component or a custom component.

The first page in this component will be the landing page for your WorkCenter.

2.3 Add Pagelet Groups information such as ID and Label

Scroll down and click“Add Folder” link

Enter Name and Label for theFolder and click “Save”

4. Create a navigation collection for the Links pagelet4.1. Go to PeopleTools > Portal > Portal Utilities > Navigation CollectionsClick the link “Add Collection”

4.2 Enter Name for the navigation and click “Add Link”.Then select source links to the Links pagelet. Save when done.

4.3 Go to the Publish Collection tab and select publishing options

4.4. Create a pagelet to hold your navigation collectionGo to PeopleTools > Portal > Pagelet Wizard > Pagelet Wizard.Add a new value.

Follow 6 steps to configure the Pagelet

1. Specify Pagelet Information 2. Select Data Source

Complete all 6 steps, Save all, and click “Finish”

6. Create Pagelets to use PS Queries to display data as a chart or table

Pagelet Wizard ->Add a new value ->Complet 6 steps

At step 2, choose “PS Query”for Data Type and select theQuery to display

Two ways to configure a WorkCenter:1.The Data Migration WorkbenchWorkCenters provide critical My Work Link filters that are based in SQL application classes. ADS (Application Data Set) can be used to migrate My Work Links, Filters, and Pagelet Configurations between databases, and ultimately to the production environments.
