Pecha Kucha:Advices to “SurLife”

in England

Walk around your new neighbourhood and pay attention because all the streets and houses looks like the same!

Learn the buses timetable as soon as posible and be sure about where they go!

The experience with the host family could be wonderful or a nightmare! Sometimes it depends on your adapting capacity.Try to be punctual, talkative and be patient if you don´t like something that is not really important. All families have their own tics or dislikes.

If you have the oportunity, try to go out with your host family to do a different activity. In my case, it was a good experience for me to know interesting places and to talk to other people about different issues.

I went to the North of Chichester with a trekking club. Some of them used to walk with their dogs. It was really nice to talk with them about how important are pets por English people, about Nature and their favourite trips.

To make new friends is always a rewarding experience.

Is important to talk with other people out of the Chichester Campus to talk about ot different issues than Education to improve your english far from your “confort area”

Food is not one of the english strengths!

Be patient!

Try to survive!

England has a lot of other fantastic good things to offer !

No coments, be positive!

Guinness will always be a good option to forget about food!

Another advise is try to be involved in their culture…

My neighbour´s halloween party was amazing!

Chichester has a lot of things to do:

Go shopping…

Visit the Gothic Cathedral

Visit the Town Hall and met the Chichester Maior.

Go to the Theatre.

Visit an interesting museum…

Bognor Regis Cinema could be another good option. It´s very cheap!

Another advice is:Try to do the same things as you used to do in Spain.

Go to the gym makes your mind and your body ready to study and work hard the next day…

Try to feel comfortable in the Campus. It is a good place to work and to have meetins with your partners

Work hard, be a practical person, be concrete and don´t feel stress because of your homework.

Try to do your best in each lesson…

The experience at the School will be gratefull…

Takes the opportunity to teach a lesson plan as soon as you could and as much as posible.

You will never forget them!

Learn as much as you could from all of them…like teachers and like people wich love their work

Enjoy the experience with your colleagues…

Maintain contact with them when everything had finished…

Feel proud of yourself.

The end
