What is Passion Week?Passion Week is the annual Christian commemoration of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus. It's a period of intense liturgical activity inside the diverse Christian confessions.

When do we celebrate it?

Every year varies the date. Passion Week is celebrated on the following Sunday to the first full moon of the Spring Equinox.

Why do we celebrate it?

Because we're Christians and Christianity celebrates the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus.

Where it takes place?

Passion Week is celebrated in all Spain, but specially in Andalusia, Murcia, Toledo and Valladolid.

How do we celebrate it?

We celebrate masses where we read the Passion and Death of Jesus and took to the streets images related to the life of Jesus.

How do we celebrate it?

The parades are accompanied by music bands and nazarenes.

Who participate?

Catholic Christians go to see the parades.
