Allah (SWT) says in the Qur’an:

ض� ر� أ� ض�ي ال أی�ا ض� را ل�و ل� ل� ی�ا أ أ�ا ال �لی أ�ا اأ�ا أ�ل ا� أ ل ي��ب أ ط� أ!لن" ض%ي لی� نی! ل& أ' ر) ل( أل ل* ی+ أ ض,ا ض- أ.ا ري أی/ ض0 ال أوا ل. ل1 را ل2و ض% ی3 أ أ4

O mankind! Eat of that which is lawful and pure on the earth, and follow not the footsteps of Shaytan. Verily, he is to you an open enemy.

[Surah Al Baqarah 2: Verse 168]

Dل ل�! Eی أ أ' أ! ض* ض9 را ل�و أ� آا أ" �Fض یل أ أ�ا ر) ض� ري أ� أ' Gر أ+ أ�ا ض3ي یل أ أH ا �أ رIل أ� أ!الأ- ل;و ض� Jر ل� رل ل) ا ل7 Kأ Lض ألـ ر! ل�ا ل* أ2 أ� Hأ Eض ل�ا+ Nأ Fض یل أ أ� ا لی�و را ال ل2و أ% ی4 أ أ!ا Dل ل6! Oأ أ+ أ!“…for he (the Prophet) commands them what is

just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure)…” (Surah al-A’raf, 7: Verse 157)

ل) ل( أل أی: ض ل�ا ر: Pل ر) ل� أل أی: ض ل�ا أQا أ�ا Kأ أ+ للو أ�ا Rر �أت طب� ي�� ط�� … ال

They ask you (O Muhammad) what is lawful for them (as food). Say: Lawful for you are At-Tayyibat .

[Surah Al Maidah 5:Verse 4]

ل* ی� ل) ال ل( Pأ Sأ أ� أی�ا ض� را ل�و ل( اأ� اب� أ ل�ل ي�� ض,ا- ط� ض* ی� أG ال أ� ر2 ض+ را ل6! ل( Tر أ!ا أ- ل&! ل% ر2 أ4 Dل ی�ا أ ض,ا ر) ل3 ل��

So eat of the lawful and good (pure) food which Allah has provided for you. And be grateful for the Grace of Allah, if it is He whom you worship

(Surah An Nahl 16: Verse 114)

The Prophet (PBUH) said:

“That which is lawful is clear and that which is unlawful is clear” [Sahih Muslim] #4178

Have fresh food on your plate Do not have ALL your food from a

can/packet Eat seasonal fruits and vegetables Find out where your food comes from Buy and eat “local” food
