From the Pastor, This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad. The Lord has risen Alleluia, Alleluia. This is what makes us different. We believe that the Lord Jesus, by his death and resurrection, has given us new life. So let us celebrate our new life in Christ. Rejoice, celebrate and be glad THE LORD HAS RISEN.
Happy Easter to all. Spread the Good News.Sing Alleluia
Sing “Alleluia,” sing “Alleluia”Jesus the Lord is risen today
Have a blessed and joyful EasterAs you go along your way.
For Jesus who diedHas come back to lifeAnd someday we also
Will arise from our strife.
To set the exampleAnd showed us the wayAnd we’ll sing “Alleluia”
On our own “Easter” day. by parishioner

Feed My Lambs Thank you !
The response to our Lenten Alms-giving this year was overwhelming. Thank you for all who participated. We, as a parish, helped the follow-ing organizations – Harford Fam-ily House, Our Daily Bread, Mann House, Homecoming Project Inc., Harford Community Action Agency, the Prison Ministry and Welcome One Shelter. Together we have helped to stock their shelves, allowing dollars to be spent for other resources, which is a blessing. Mother Teresa said it best, “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” Thank you for making this year
a success!

Opportunities for 2018Please consider an outreach ministry for yourself or family. There are many ministries here at Saint Margaret, and new ministers are always needed. We are called by the Gospels to “Go” and make disciples of all we meet. The following are some of the ministries available at Saint Margaret Parish:
• Our Daily Bread Casseroles - make a casserole with your family for the hungry in Baltimore. Pans and recipes are at the doors of the Church. You may also serve food at Our Daily Bread.
• St. Lawrence Ministry - assist those in need by answering requests by phone and in person for those who need food, rent, utilities or someone to simply listen.
• Communion minister for our nursing homes, hospital, senior housing and directly to those who are homebound.• Substance Abuse groups-help those who are addicted to drugs and alcohol.• Play It Forward - interact and help those who are physically and mentally handicapped.• Consider becoming a member of the Legion of Mary.• Respect Life Committee - promote life issues, attend the March for Life each year or become a member of Birthright.• Consider the prayer shawl ministry, rosary maker group, prayer card ministry and health ministry group.• Consolation/bereavement ministry - assist at funerals and comfort those who have lost a loved one. • Hunger/Homeless ministries - bring food to Church each week, make and serve dinners at the Cooperative Food
Ministry, assist with JAM ministry, make and serve dinners at the homeless shelter in Belcamp or work at the Cottage Thrift Shop.
• First Friday Senior lunch and Mass - spend time and help our seniors. • Prison ministry - visit those in prison and share scripture and communion.
