• Wholly-owned subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources

STOREY SOLAR PROJECT

The Storey Solar Project consists of a photovoltaic solar power generation and battery electrical storage facility and associated generation intertie (gen-tie) transmission line.

The project includes:

• 88 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic facility

• 88 MW 3-hour battery storage system

• 230-kilovolt (kV) gen-tie line, connecting into the existing Vah Ki substation

PROJECT AREA

PROJECT BENEFITS

Economic benefits:• Approximately $180 million in project investment• Approximately $18.5 million in tax revenue• Creates approximately 250 construction jobs

Health and Environmental benefits:• Emits no air and water pollutants• Solar panel materials can be recovered and recycled at the end of their life

• Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) for 230kV gen-tie line (to be completed)

Hohokam Irrigation and Drainage District / Bureau of Reclamation

• Canal crossing permitting (in process)
