What is cyber-bullying?

When one person or a group of people aim to threaten, tease or

embarrass someone else by using a mobile phone, the internet

or other technologies

Advice you should give to your children

• Never give out personal details

• Don’t accept emails from people you don’t know

• Tell your parents or guardians if you feel uncomfortable or worried

• Think carefully about what you write

Staying safe online•Keep your passwords private

•Don’t accept friend requests from people you don’t know

•Keep your profile private or ‘friends only’

•Don’t post or share photos that you wouldn’t want everyone to see.

What is CSE?

CSE stands for Child Sexual Exploitation

It is a type of child sexual abuse

Any young person can become a victim, whether a boy or girl

Young people are forced into taking part in a sexual act in return for attention, affection, money, drugs, alcohol or accommodation.

What is CSE?

Different types of CSE

There are three different types of CSE:

Online Grooming

‘Boyfriend’ Model

‘Party’ Model

CSE can happen to any young person, regardless of their gender, age, ethnicity or background.

CSE is a crime, it is not the victim’s fault and they are not to blame.
