Hardware Requirements

• Disk space: 200MB for the Moodle code, plus as much as you need to store content. 5GB is probably a realistic minimum.

• Processor: 1GHz (min), 2GHz dual core or more recommended.

• Memory: 512MB (min), 1GB or more is recommended. 8GB plus is likely on a large production server

• Dedicated Database

• Latest Moodle version

• PHP 7.1.0 or later

• PHP extension intl is required

• MySQL Database (latest)

Web-hosting

• Onswaziline proposes to setup the Moodle site on the cloud through its RELIABLE, SECURE and STABLE Linux webhosting services.

• The proposed web-hosting package has the following features: 20GB Hosting Space, 5 FTP Access accounts, 5 Databases, Web File Manager, Control Panel, PHPMyAdmin, PHP 7 & MySQL, Site Stats, Unlimited Traffic, Webstas, Daily Backups.

• The web-hosting account comes with an SSL certificate.

• This process may include registering a domain name and setting up a secure webhosting for the Moodle portal.

User Training

• Onswaziline has to train the following groups of system users on how to use the Moodle platform:

– Teachers

– Students

– Administrators

• Onswaziline will provide user manuals and videos that the customer’s users can refer to from time to time.

Maintenance & Support

Moodle Maintenance & Support Contract• Onswaziline offers an Annual System Maintenance And

Support Services Contract.

• The fee for this contract is determined by the number of system users (all levels)

• Any support requested changes and updates must be done within latest 24 hours (on working days).

• The contract only covers maintenance and support services, webhosting and domain name registration/renewal.

• Any request to redesign a Moodle portal will attract service fees.

Project Timelines

• The proposed Moodle portal may be setup, configured, customized and ready to launch within 4 weeks including the training of users:

• Moodle Configuration & Customization (once off) requires 50 hours over a 2 week period.

• Moodle User Training (once off) requires 10 hours and can be done within 1 week.

• The user training approach is develop users who can be system champions and further train others

Our Fee Structure

• Moodle Configuration & Customization (50 hours charged at E200/hour) = E10,000

• Moodle User Training charged per user @ E100/user (includes training video & Manual)

• Monthly User Subscription Fee @ E3/user – covers the Annual System Maintenance And Support Services Contract.
