CharlieCharlie was the movie made from Daniel Keyes’s short story “Flowers for Algernon,” and might be the scariest of the lot. As for the King books, they’re the story of an evil car, a rabid dog, a cell phone signal that turns people into vicious animals, and the world’s worst prom date.
