Prelude Chiming of the Hour Welcome
Introit
In the Lord I’ll be ever thankful, in the Lord I will rejoice! Look to God, do not be afraid. Lift up your voices, the Lord is near, Lift up your voices, the Lord is near.
*Call to Worship
Come and see what God has done. Come and see what God is doing. The Lord is mighty in power and deeds. The Lord is awesome in splendor and mercy. Let us make a joyful noise to God all the earth! Let us sing to the glory of God’s name!
*Hymn 422 God, Whose Giving Knows No Ending
*Call to Confession
*Prayer of Confession
God of mercy and grace, we are meant to praise you and to give you thanks always. Yet, we confess that we do not live out of constant gratitude. We find ourselves doubting your power and your provisions. We tend to hold back when asked to give ourselves away to you or to others. Forgive us, we pray. Heal and restore us, so that we may return to you with a right spirit and serve you with willing hearts; through Christ our Lord we pray. (time for silent confession)
And let God’s people say: Amen.
*Assurance of Pardon
*Gloria Patri Hymn 577 Avery & Marsh
*The Peace of Christ
Since God has forgiven us in Christ, let us forgive one another. The peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. And also with you. Let us share the peace of Christ with one another.

*Affirmation of Faith The Apostles’ Creed (traditional version)
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
