Occupational Health and Safety CharterAsanko Gold Inc. and its controlled subsidiaries, collectively ‘Asanko Gold’, is committed to protecting the health and safety of our employees, contractors and other persons associated with our activities.

In adopting the following principles, Asanko Gold intends to set and implement standards of excellence for occupational health and safety (OH&S):

1. Our employees are at the heart of our safety culture.2. Safety has to be our first consideration at work.3. Asanko Gold will communicate to all employees the importance of working in a safe and healthful manner.4. Asanko Gold will identify the hazards associated with our activities and ensure that they are effectively

managed.5. Asanko Gold will ensure our employees have the necessary skills, training and equipment to safely undertake

their work.6. Asanko Gold will require all contractors to conduct their activities in a manner consistent with this Charter.7. Asanko Gold will develop and implement policies, systems and procedures for managing the OH&S aspects

of our business.8. Asanko Gold will routinely set and review targets for OH&S performance within a framework of continuous

improvement.9. Asanko Gold will comply with host country laws and regulations and will augment these with international

guidelines and best practice management.
